Holiday Autos challenged us to come up with another summer idea to inspire people to book their next getaway.
So, with a little bit of research and technical wizardry, we unveiled a unique vending machine filled with bottled smells of summer. In a move to bring sunshine to commuters, the vending machine was positioned in Slough Station in front of hundreds on their way to work.
Playing host to Britโs favourite summer scents including Freshly Cut Grass, Sun Cream, Sea Air, BBQ, the twitter activated machine was designed to provide gloomy commuters a much needed pick-me up, after learning that, on average, Britons start to feel the holiday-blues as little as 16 days after returning to the UK.
A collection of pictures and a short video later, the story was picked up across the likes of The Sun (twice), MailOnline, PSFK, DesignTaxi, BT.com, AOL, Trendhunter as well as a raft of regional print and online hits.
