Fun times with our lovely clients at Get Living London, who look after East Village E20 (aka the former Olympic Athletes’ Village).
Our brief from them is to reflect the sense of community in London’s hottest new neighbourhood. Especially at Christmas.
Now the issue with being London’s hottest new neighbourhood is that some people don’t know where it is. And we heard that some of the children living there were concerned that, with a degree of location confusion and a lack of chimneys, Santa himself might not be able to find his way there.
The solution to this problem was, quite naturally, Santa Nav.
So we worked with local resident Jonathan Silman and his eight year old son to create a Santa’s eye view of the flight path to E20. With a drone. And a reindeer rear view. Naturally.
The news of this gesture has gone far and wide with highlights including the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Sunday World, BT.com, Aol., PopSugar, MSN, Huffington Post and a host of regionals. It’s also spread around the globe, with coverage in Singapore, Cyprus and Italy amongst others.
It even made an appearance on Good Morning America, on USA Today and on literally hundreds of local and regional sites across the States.
Funny old world.
