We’ve been off to IFA to showcase Sony to the tech world and have, once again, smashed-in the results across the media …

As is tradition at this time of year, all the major tech companies descended on Berlin to show off their latest gizmos and gadgets at one of the world’s biggest trade shows, IFA.

Sony dominated the headlines once again thanks to some incredible and innovative tech and a lot of hard work from the team.

From the stunning new addition to the flagship smartphone line-up, Xperia 5, to a series of dazzling new colours for the WH-H910N headphones and NW-A105 Walkman®, Sony’s booth was bustling day-in and day-out with punters and press who couldn’t get enough of the world-class technologies. In honour of Sony’s iconic, original Walkman’s 40th birthday, the company also debuted an anniversary edition – the NW-A100TPS – which went down a storm with media!

The team hosted media from The Telegraph, The Sun, Irish Daily Star, Forbes and the Daily Star, published a series of blog posts and conducted numerous stand tours with the wider media across various markets to ensure Sony was the brand on everybody’s lips.  T3 even awarded Xperia 5 with “Best Phone” in its Best of Show round-up!

Day one alone saw approximately 700 attendees take their seat at the press conference to be one of the first to hear the latest news from Sony, and Xperia 5 even trended on Twitter worldwide!

Over 230 pieces of coverage were generated for all Sony announcements at IFA, with some standout UK pieces on TechRadar, Pocket-lint, The Verge, What Hi-Fi? and the Daily Express – and that’s just from day one!
