We’re always looking for new ways to get Uber Eats and its many partners talked about.
So, when we heard that KFCโs new Zinger Popcorn Chicken Bucket was going to be available on the platform, we got our thinking caps on.
Hmmmm … when do you eat popcorn? What could we choose to deliver in that might be vaguely relevant?
So went the thought process.
It was as a result of that that we treated Uber Eats customers to some rather special deliveries on-board some of cinemaโs most iconic cars. The fleet included the Batmobile, James Bondโs Aston Martin DB5 and the Ghostbusters Ecto-1.
Customers who ordered the delicious new offering from KFC on the Uber Eats app were in with the chance of having one of the famous movie cars roll up into their neighbourhood with their order.
We announced the limited edition movie car deliveries alongside consumer research which revealed that Brits consider James Bondโs iconic DB5 be the ultimate movie car, beating The Delorean from Back To The Future and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
In total, there were well over 50 pieces of coverage, including both print and online articles with theย Daily Mirror,ย The Sun,ย Daily Expressย andย Daily Star.
A wheely neat campaign (sorry).
