We have the pleasure of working with Guide Dogs to help them out with their campaigns raising awareness of the challenges facing the visually impaired community and campaigning to make society a more inclusive place.
Which is why we came up with our latest campaign for the organisation (following our work creating a multi-sensory version of the Gruffalo) which features the UK’s first VI-aware Santa’s Grotto.
We kicked off the campaign a month or so ago working with Santa School, educating Father Christmas impersonators from across the country in how to take better care of visitors who experience visual impairment.
We have since followed that up with the creation of a VI grotto in Camden, open over the weekend and welcoming hundreds of guests for a festive experience of a lifetime.
At the experience children got to touch and smell different gifts in the head elfโs toy workshop as well as take part in Cookie decorating and hot chocolate workshops – ensuring everyone could take part in the Christmas fun.
There were absolute belters across the Evening Standard, Independent (twice), Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail. And, as always, a host of others.
