To promote the incredible array of paint colours available from Lick, the newest collab now means that fans of Heinz can now quite literally paint their homes in the brand’s iconic shade of Tomato Ketchup red.
The limited edition Red HTK 57 paint has been meticulously developed to feature a unique blend of pigments to recreate ketchup red when it dries.
Which according to Lick’s very own Director of Interior Design and Colour Psychologist Tash Bradley, it aims to “…subconsciously trigger our appetites, as well as a desire to chat, making it a firm favourite for social spaces such as kitchens and dining rooms, the very places youโd find a Heinz ketchup bottle.”
Available as part of this latest Lick collab for a limited time only, needless to say, fans of both brands have been scrambling to get their hands on the opportunity to purchase one of 570 made-to-order Red HTK 57 tins of matt paint from Lick for just ยฃ45.
And needless to say, so have the media if the results are anything to go by.
Within 24 hours, landing print with half a page in the Daily Star and a cracker of a piece in The Daily Telegraph, as well as going on to scoop features across the likes of The Evening Standard, Homes & Gardens, Ideal Home, Living Etc and is now starting to clean up regionally as well with multiple hits and syndications across Reach titles including Wales Online and the Leicester Mercury.
And with more landing every day, itsโre to see that this one has even gone international, bagging the likes of German national Bild (among an array of others across Europe) as overseas enquiries hit Lick’s inbox thick and fast.
With plenty more pieces in the pipeline, it’s been a fun few days helping to bring to life this brilliantly bizarre ketchup-based culture clash.
