Last year we created and then launched the Uber Eats Hosts … platform, inviting a variety of experts – from top chefs to cultural icons – to take over the platform and offer foodies the opportunity to enjoy their dishes from the comfort of their own homes.
For our latest foray we’ve announced that none other than talented amateur Brooklyn Beckham has created a menu available exclusively through Uber Eats and will be manning the pass to open his own pop-up restaurant.
Our man will offer five of his favourite dishes โ what he calls โhis ultimateย takeawayย menuโ. There are tasty treats on offer including English Breakfast Sandwiches, Chicken Tikka Masala, Bolognaise and a mouth-watering selection of other morsels on offer.
Speaking of his first formal appearance in the world of high cuisine, Brooklyn says he remembered his grandmother showing him how to cook at just five years old, with her English Breakfast sandwich, and said it has “been my favourite ever since.”
He went on: “Iโve always been into trying different foods, cuisines, and cultures, but that was one of my earliest memories of loving cooking. Spending time in the kitchen is definitely something me and my dad bond overโฆ even though I think I make my English Breakfast sandwich better, he does make a pretty good one.”
The coverage this morning has been, as you might expect of such an epic first foray into restauranteurship, pretty much wall-to-wall. With pieces breaking across Daily Mail, METRO, Evening Standard, Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Independent, HuffPo, OK, Heart FM … you name it, we’re on it. And we’ve only just started so watch this space for more as the campaign rolls out …
