A cracking day of awards as the Sabres got things off to a winning start for the Hope&Glory team

As some might’ve read, the Hope&Glory team is in a state of some excitement and much trepidation about awards season. We appear to be up for a lot of them. But that just means a lot to lose as much as all to gain.

With a trip to the Sabre Awards tonight at least some of our worry abated.

With a lunchtime awards event that saw us first scoop awards for IKEA and then for HTC.

Our work on the IKEA “Happy Ending Fairytales” won in the digital content category, which was a brilliant recognition of our content team.

Meantime, our HTC #phonies campaign – which seems to be going down well with the awards juries – picked up Best Meme.

Then the team got its glad rags on for the evening event at the Roundhouse with another load of work in contention.

As things turned out we bagged another two awards. Not a bad haul against some stiff competition.

First up the HTC #phonies campaign – an agency favourite for silliness and blind inspiration – got best social media campaign.

That was followed by our work for O2 picking up Best UK mid-budget campaign as “Wear the Rose” got some much justified recognition for awesome media skills.

Altogether a lovely night out and a great set of wins for three of the teams across the land of Hope&Glory.
