At Hope&Glory we’re on a journey to increase the diversity of our team, and we’re committed to being transparent and accountable on our journey, which is why we publish our diversity data.
We take a holistic approach to diversity, which means looking at the whole picture and actively creating a workplace where everyone feels welcome and included, regardless of their background.
Our partnership with The Blueprint is central to our commitment to racial and ethnic diversity within the PR industry. By adhering to their 23 commitments, we are actively engaged in removing barriers for Black, Asian, Mixed Race, and Ethnic Minority professionals.
Black, Asian, Mixed Race and Ethnic Minority team members make up 16% of the team today and 11% of our board. From a gender perspective, we are 75% / 26% female / male across the team. 61% of the board are female and 64% of senior roles are held by women.
As of August 2024, when we undertake our annual team self-identification census, 13% of our team identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, whilst 21% are from a lower socio-economic household with 67% going to state schools. As important, we also have total gender and ethnic pay parity at every level.
We know there’s still a lot of work to do – both internally and across the PR industry – to really tackle systemic inequality. That’s why we’re prioritising belonging and inclusion, celebrating the richness of different lived experiences through our Team Impact Groups, and collectively embedding DE&I into everything we do – from our daily interactions to the work we produce.
Because every action we take brings us closer to our goal: making Hope&Glory a place where everyone can thrive and do the best work of their careers.
