This week, the HTC press office team has been pulling off their fourth flagship launch for the mobile brand.
As well as letting you take selfies simply by squeezing the phone, the HTC U11 is also fully compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and boasts the highest DxO rating for a mobile phone ever (which means it has a really good camera) and a striking liquid glass design.
Ahead of the launch, the team secured 40 lifestyle, consumer technology and national media to be pre-briefed on the handset meaning they were able to get first-hand reactions, images and video of the phone. Following this, ten media were then hosted at HTCโs headquarters in Taiwan for the U11 press conference.
All the above meant the team enjoyed a massive wave of in-depth, positive coverage at the launch moment with 141 pieces on day one alone, with a reach of 1,293,789,276 and 40% coverage in lifestyle or national titles.
Coverage includes Metro Online, BBC News Online, Express Online, Mail Online, Mirror Online, I News โ here, here and here), The Sun, Independent Online, Stuff, Daily Star, Daily Telegraph, Press Association Wired Online, T3 Online and Huffington Post.
A great start, with much more to come as reviews roll on.
