Smart Asses ride again … bringing a spot of Doctor Dolittle to the Southbank for the summer

Fun times for the team this week as we got to work with the lovely people at Merlin Entertainments.

They wanted something that would celebrate family summer times, as well as get the word out about all the awesome stuff you can do on London’s South Bank thanks to the presence of The London Dungeon, the Coca Cola London Eye, Sealife Aquarium and Shrek’s Adventure.

Which is why we came up with the idea of introducing Donkey Rides to the area – shuttling families between attractions in the most entertaining way possible while bringing the seaside to the riverside.

And given the connection to a certain well known animated film donkey, it seemed to make sense to make them talk. Which is why we created a “donkey translator” (which takes the donkeys’ natural sounds and turns them into language you and I can understand –ย but a swift viewing of the film should explain that in more detail).

And with a launch that found its way across SKY News, Good Morning Britain, ITV London News, Daily Telegraph, the Evening Standard, CITY A.M., Huffington Post,ย Yahoo! Newsย (and a host of others besides), that was certainly the message we got across through a swift spot of cracking media relations over the course of the last week or so.
