Team O2 teamed up with NSPCC to use the friendly rivalry of quizzes to open up conversations about online safety

At a time when the nation is more reliant than ever on mobile devices, Team O2 partnered with NSPCC to encourage family conversations about online safety โ€“ through a bit of friendly rivalry.

Pitting parents against their kids through an ultimate test of knowledge, we launched the Parents v Kids live virtual quiz, which saw 140 participants enter and have their knowledge rewarded with Apple AirPods Pro, Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker and Amazon Echo Dots for the highest scoring families.

The team put research into field that revealed parents say quizzes have helped to bring them closer as a family and voted them their number one choice for family entertainment during lockdown.

A news and listings sell-in followed, securing a raft of coverage in the likes of Daily Star, The Telegraph and Metro amongst others โ€“ all successfully helping to ensure that kids are just that bit safer as they enjoy the online world.
