The Pride in London team has been busy this month getting ready for Europe’s biggest event, which this year focused on allyship

To raise awareness of our key messages in the run up to Pride, we kicked off with the parade route announcement then revealed to the world who was on the star-studded performer list, landing numerous national, London and lifestyle pieces.

We then hosted a range of interviews with this year’s performers and Pride legends including Idina Menzel, Victoria Scone and Michael Twaits, along with our Pride in London spokespeople. In addition to hosting key media and influencers at the captivating Pride’s Got Talent finale.

On the day itself, we captured assets of the march in all its glory, including a photo call with Sadiq Khan and a number of trans icons, as well as snapping showstopping performances from the likes of Adam Lambert, Rita Ora, Beverly Knight and Jake Shears, issuing them to media throughout the day.

Despite a few curveballs, such as a protest from Just Stop Oil, the parade was a glorious celebration that generated mainstream coverage and put the importance of LGBT+ rights front and centre on the media agenda.

So far, over the course of the campaign, we’ve landed over 1,000 pieces of coverage (and counting) with standout pieces across the national and international media front pages and airwaves.
