We went searching for the naked truth with Gemma Collins to celebrate HTC’s most revealing phone ever: can you keep up with the GC?

We went old school PR with our latest campaign for HTC, partnering up with national treasure and social media sensation Gemma Collins to help her realise a dream (and try to break the internet in the process).

To celebrate the fantastic camera capabilities of the new HTC U12+ the GC channelled her I.C.O.N. Kim Kardashian in a photo series designed as an homage to the internet’s most famous selfie queen.

Taking over a house in Clapham, we decked out each room to work as a studio and then set to work, using the RAW feature on the HTC U12+ to take some stunning shots.

Recreating some of KK’s most iconic selfies, the HGC bared all – perfectly tying in with the transparent blue version of HTC’s latest flagship – the company’s most revealing phone yet. She posted the images on her social channels and needless to say, it went a bit crazy.

The post is already her most liked of 2018, with tens of thousands of likes and thousands of comments.

And it has smashed it on editorial too …

So far we’ve had multiple hits on the Daily Mail, where the story was top of “the sidebar of shame”. We also hit nationals including the Daily Mirror, The Sun, Evening Standard, Daily Star and METRO, entertainment and celeb sites including New, MTV and OK, and the Kardashian fan sites.

It’s a short life, but a happy one.
