Over the past few months, we’ve been working with the Pepsi Spain team to launch the brand’s newest product, designed to protect manicures across the globe – the Pepsi Ring.
For the launch, Pepsi collaborated with renowned Madrid-based jeweller LongPlay to craft a limited edition run of silver-plated, white zirconia-encrusted rings that incorporate an opener at the bottom, specifically designed to open a Pepsi can nail-free.
The launch came in response to Spanish music icon Bad Gyal sharing her struggle opening cans with long nails, with Pepsi creating a bespoke ring for the star.
The brand also hosted an exclusive performance by Bad Gyal to celebrate the launch, with the star performing some of her biggest hits to a packed-out crowd of press, influencers and Pepsi fans.
With a host of key media in attendance at the event, coverage rolled in across key Spanish media titles. Standout pieces landed in Vogue Spain, Grazia, 25gramos, Highxtar and GQ, with the news of the ring reaching over 113 million people around the world.
